Meet Jason Brown,

MS, CSCS

Box Programming & BP Training Systems was founded by Jason Brown, a former combat veteran and a box owner.

Jason has a Masters of Science degree in Exercise Science, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, and is a Certified Special Strengths Coach with Westside Barbell. He regularly writes for T-Nation.com, EliteFTS.com, and serves as a presenter with the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Jason’s fitness journey began in high school. His father strongly encouraged him in athletics and to be his best, and his mother was a powerlifter, so he was inside in weight rooms at a very young age. He excelled at football in high school and was fortunate to have the opportunity to train at a highly regarded strength and conditioning facility.

Jason graduated in 2002 and entered college, where he continued to play football. He started working part-time in personal training, and was introduced to and learned the Conjugate System popularized by Louie Simmons. He began training athletes both one-on-one and in group settings.
